That’s why we offer our full-time and part-time employees full coverage — meaning zero out-of-pocket cost — for inpatient and outpatient services received at wholly owned Covenant Health facilities. Put simply, if you elect insurance at a competitive rate through us, whether you have a baby, need an MRI, or undergo knee surgery, and receive care at a wholly Covenant-owned facility, you’ll pay nothing out-of-pocket.

We offer 3 different dental plans to our employees, with no waiting periods for major dental work.

We offer vision benefits through MetLife so you can keep your eyes healthy and your eyesight sharp.

Our in-house pharmacy, CovRx, delivers directly to many of our different facilities, offering convenience and allowing you to save money on your prescriptions.

Would you be financially secure if an injury or illness sidelined you tomorrow? In the event that you are unable to work for a time, Covenant Health provides the opportunity for income replacement by offering both short-term and long-term disability. Even better, pre-existing conditions are covered when you initially enroll in our short-term disability plan.

Your family is important to us, too. That’s why we pay the full costs of Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance for full-time and part-time employees — to provide your family with a little security if something were to happen to you.

Isn’t it nice to help people in need — and to know you also have support in times of emergency?

WeCare is Covenant Health’s system-wide employee giving program, allowing employees to donate personal contributions and support their community in ways that are meaningful to them. Employees can designate their contributions among about 70 WeCare “funds” that range from scholarship programs for clinical education to supporting our medical outreach programs in their communities.

WeCare is probably best known, however, for providing financial assistance to patients and to our Covenant Health employee family. Contributions can be used to help patients who may need help paying for medications or personal items. Or, they may be designated for an employee assistance fund to help coworkers facing unexpected personal or family expenses. In 2019, employees raised more than $600,000 to help our own.

“For years I’ve been a supporter of WeCare — I would have never imagined that I would be in a situation where I would need assistance. On Saturday, March 1, our home of 18 years was destroyed by fire. We lost everything, including one of our toy poodles, Lucy. We were able to salvage a few items, but not many. We are left in the aftermath dealing with insurance claims and trying to regroup. WeCare was there for us when we needed help and for that I am thankful. I am very proud to be a small part of something that touches lives when they are at their lowest and are in need.”

Did you know that you can potentially save more on medical and dependent care with Flexible Spending Accounts? With our Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, or FSA, you can set aside money from your paycheck, before taxes are taken out, to pay for any qualifying healthcare expenses that are not covered under our plans. You can set aside up to $5,000 per year to be reimbursed for dependent care expenses.

We want you to know you’re first, too — that’s why Covenant Health offers the services of Consumer Credit Union for employees. Credit unions exist to serve their member-owners, so our goal is 100% member satisfaction achieved through the best possible service. Membership is open to all Covenant Health employees, and once you’re a member, you’re always a member. Consumer Credit Union is a full-service financial institution offering competitive loan and savings rates.

We want to help you pay off your student loan debt faster so that you can focus on other financial goals. That’s why we launched our Student Loan Repayment Assistance Program.* We contribute a set amount every month toward the principal amount of your student loans — a potential savings of several thousand dollars over the duration of the loan repayment.
