Covenant Health Facilities & Units

At Covenant Health, you’ll find a variety of different career opportunities for Registered Nurses in East Tennessee. We have 9 acute-care hospitals, 1 behavioral health hospital, and many outpatient clinics and physician practices. We provide specialized care and expertise in areas such as stroke care, heart care, neurosurgery, orthopedics, cancer treatment, high-risk pregnancies, rehabilitation, behavioral services, and home care. Listed below is a brief description of the different facilities (the units within them coming soon!) that commonly hire nurses.

    • Claiborne Medical Center:  is an 85-bed hospital in Claiborne County with over 350 employees and 100 active and courtesy physicians. It offers a full range of medical services and also provides skilled long-term care through its Claiborne Health & Rehabilitation Center.
    • Cumberland Medical Center: is a 189-bed hospital in Crossville with more than 650 employees and 175 active physicians. It offers a full range of specialty services, including cardiology, gastroenterology, surgery, orthopedics, maternity services, cancer care, and advanced wound care.
    • Fort Loudoun Medical Center: is a 50-bed hospital in Loudoun County with over 250 employees and 200 active and courtesy physicians. It is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and is consistently recognized for clinical and service excellence.
    • Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center: is a 541-bed hospital in Knoxville with more than 1,900 employees and 650 active and courtesy physicians. It is the region’s referral center for stroke, neurosurgery, orthopedics, cancer, cardiology, neurology, surgery, and obstetrics. Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center is currently celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2020, and is also undergoing an expansion of its Emergency Department and Critical Care Unit!
    • LeConte Medical Center: is a 79-bed hospital in Sevierville with over 500 employees and 140 active and courtesy physicians. It offers 24-hour emergency care, family-centered maternity care, surgical services, a comprehensive cancer center, physical therapy clinics, and is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center.
    • Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge: is a 301-bed hospital in Oak Ridge with over 1,100 employees and 200 active and courtesy physicians. It provides more than 30 medical specialties, ranging from cardiology and orthopedics to cancer care. It is also an Advanced Primary Stroke Center.
    • Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System: is a 167-bed hospital with over 600 employees and 150 active and courtesy physicians. It has Six Centers of Excellence, including the Heart, Lung, & Vascular Center, Women’s Center, Breast Center, Morristown Regional Cancer Center, Outpatient Surgery Center, and Emergency & Critical Care Center.
    • Parkwest Medical Center: is a 307-bed hospital with 1,700 employees and more than 500 active and courtesy physicians. It provides the region’s leading cardiac services, has a nationally recognized emergency department, and offers award-winning care in orthopedics, neurosurgery, and obstetrics.
    • Peninsula Behavioral Health: consists of an inpatient hospital in Louisville with 155 beds, as well as 4 outpatient clinics. The 330 employees see more than 75,000 outpatient visits per year and 3,500 outpatient intakes per year.
    • Roane Medical Center: is a 54-bed hospital located in Harriman with more than 250 employees and 90 active and courtesy physicians. It has a six-bed intensive care unit, diagnostic cath lab, sleep lab, and offers surgical services and specialized women’s imaging services.
    • Covenant HomeCare & Hospice: serving residents in 17 counties, Covenant HomeCare’s skilled nurses, certified nursing assistants, therapists, and medical social workers offer a range of services for transitional and continued care.
    • Covenant Medical Group (CMG): Covenant Health’s employed and managed medical practice organization, with more than 250 top physicians and providers spanning the continuum of care in 23 cities throughout East Tennessee and the Cumberland Plateau.
    • Covenant Staffing Services (CSS): Known as the Covenant Health System Float Pool, CSS nurses serve all Covenant Health facilities.
