Nurse Residency Graduation

In the last couple of weeks, Fort Sanders Regional Medical CenterLeConte Medical CenterMorristown-Hamblen Healthcare System and Parkwest Medical Center all celebrated their most recent graduates of the Covenant Health Nurse Residency Program.  The 12-month structured program used classroom learning seminars, case studies, small group discussion, precepted clinical practice, and evidence-based practice projects to train the newly-graduated nurses.

At Parkwest’s graduation the group was welcomed and congratulated by chief administrative officer Neil Heatherly and chief nursing officer Lynn Cagle, as well as nurse residency program coordinator Sara Meadows. Thanks to all of our leaders who worked closely with the nurse residents in their departments, as well as our educators and their support to the program.
