Fort Sanders Perinatal Center has a small but efficient business office in need of a Patient Account Rep II and a patient surgery scheduler! These roles are integral parts of the Perinatal Center.

The Patient Account Representative will deal with the claim process and follow-up with insurance companies to ensure prompt and appropriate payment. This position reviews accounts and initiates necessary actions to ensure payment including claim appeals and denials. The representative must have a thorough understanding of patient account follow-up and payment guidelines for insurance and employer plans.

The surgery scheduler works with physicians, patients, and hospital surgery staff to schedule needed procedures. This position requires excellent organization and communication skills to deliver the best patient experience possible.
