Covenant Health Careers

Do You Put Patients First? At Covenant Health, We Do.

Whether you are a nurse, technician, housekeeper, office assistant, or anything in between, at Covenant Health, we ask you to commit to our pledge of excellence. Each of our more than 10,000 employees have signed a pledge stating that:

  • The patient always comes first
  • Excellence in everything I do
  • I will do my part to make Covenant Health the first and best choice

These are not just words to us. Our mission is to improve the quality of life in our community through better health. Our “community” extends from the Great Smoky Mountains through Knoxville to the Cumberland Gap and west to the Cumberland Plateau. We have the privilege of serving local communities and more than a million patients and their families each year in our nine acute-care hospitals, specialized facilities, and associated medical practice locations.

We ask our employees to give their best because of the people we serve.

Our Recruiter Tip of the Week from LeConte Medical Center Recruiter Ashley: “As a recruiter, we see large numbers of applications, especially for entry level positions. That said, it’s extremely important you do all you can to stand out on paper.

I personally love a strong resume that paints a picture of your professional career in a concise manner. Give enough detail (bullet points preferred) to let me know what your job entailed, but not so much detail that your resume is excessively long. Keep in mind that a resume should be 1 page per ten years of experience. Make sure to put your education experience as well, but avoid putting photos or excessive personal information.”
