Benefits

As a valued employee, you’ll receive a host of benefit options. Regular full-time (72 hours per pay period) are eligible for Covenant Medical Plans and CTO, in addition to a host of elective benefits.  Part-time employees are eligible for certain elective benefits. 

Retirement Plans*

You may contribute up to the IRS maximum limit. You will be eligible for this plan after 90 days or your 21st birthday, whichever is later. Covenant Health does offer matching 401(k) contributions for qualifying employees. The 401(k) plan has a 6 year step vesting schedule for the employer match contributions. We offer several investment options through our third party administrator, Fidelity Investments.

Combined Time Off (CTO)*

Combined Time Off (CTO) is accrued each pay period. CTO time is used for sick leave and vacation days.

Medical/Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts

You can set aside money before taxes to cover estimated medical and childcare/eldercare costs throughout the year.

Disability

Group Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance

Basic life insurance benefits paid by Covenant Health. Additional policies are available for purchase.

Offered through Covenant’s Leadership & Learning Development Department, employees may take advantage of ongoing educational and development opportunities including:

Employees are eligible for an initial membership discount at Fort Sanders Health & Fitness Center.

Covenant Health Credit Union

The Covenant Health Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and operated by member employees of Covenant Health and it’s member facilities. A full-service financial institution, the credit union offers a wide range of financial services tailored to meet the needs of health care professionals.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Employee Assistance is available for employees and family members. The program is designed to help with a variety of personal problems, including: marital, family, substance abuse, emotional conflicts, stress, legal and financial problems and domestic violence.
